Orange County Public Beach just past Godenwest St. at the edge of Huntington Beach where it meets Bolsa Chica Beach. Pre-sunset with a flock of seagulls in the air, to the the right mid frame you can see the tip of Long Beach and a freighter ship.

End of the HB pier. In the past before the Huntington Beach pier was damaged the pier would have extended across the entire image. This is looking back toward Surf City from Bolsa Chica Beach.

Looking south toward HB, Calfornia form the county beaches just before sunset. The Huntington Beach pier can be seen with Ruby's at the end of the peir. This was open public lands until the last few years, now it is paved with bike paths and parking lots with parking meters, it used to be free to park along the beach.

The original and much longer HB pier before half of it was destroyed. Now the Huntington Beach pier ends at the small building second to the last. Due to telephoto compression the pier looks shorted than it is. Today the small building is occupied by Ruby's but had been a bait shop in the past.

The walking paths along the beach looking south toward Huntington Beach, CA. You can see the HB Pier, and the only apartments on the beach to the left which are often damaged when there are storms and high surf, but I'd still be glad to live there!
